Qiu Junping, born in November 1947, Lianyuan city, Hunan province. In 1969, he was assigned to work in the City Planning Commission in Hubei province after he graduated from department of chemistry of Wuhan University. From 1978 to 1981, Mr Qiu majored in Scientific and Technical Information at Wuhan University. After graduation, he worked as a teacher in the same University. In 1998, he was invited to visit Ohio University as a senior visiting scholar and senior research fellow. Mr Qiu conducted international collaborative research and participated in curators’ international exchange programs there, and then got an international training certificate.
He is working as the adjunct professor or doctoral tutor at Institute of Management Science , Zhejiang University, Institutes of Technology of Nanjing and many other units. And he is executive member of Chinese Science of Science and Technology Policy Research Council, deputy director of Scientific Metrology Committee, executive director of Society of Competitive Intelligence of China, director of Chinese Scientific Information Society, executive director of Chinese Social Science Information Society and executive director of China Index Institute. |
