【摘 要】

       世界上有許多項(xiàng)大學(xué)排名，但各個(gè)排名的依據(jù)、做法和結(jié)果各不相同。為了更好地利用各項(xiàng)排名結(jié)果，本文以?xún)煞N著名的世界大學(xué)排名：U.S.News發(fā)布的“世界最佳大學(xué)”排名和西班牙網(wǎng)絡(luò)計(jì)量實(shí)驗(yàn)室發(fā)布的“世界大學(xué)網(wǎng)絡(luò)排名”為對(duì)象，深入分析和比較兩項(xiàng)排名的指標(biāo)、權(quán)重、數(shù)據(jù)來(lái)源和結(jié)果，并探討二者之間的關(guān)系。結(jié)果表明：世界大學(xué)綜合競(jìng)爭(zhēng)力和網(wǎng)絡(luò)競(jìng)爭(zhēng)力之間相關(guān)性并不高；但是，綜合實(shí)力表現(xiàn)較好的學(xué)校其網(wǎng)絡(luò)表現(xiàn)不會(huì)很落后，且有相當(dāng)一部分頂尖大學(xué)的網(wǎng)絡(luò)排名亦表現(xiàn)很好；網(wǎng)絡(luò)排名有一定的特色，是對(duì)綜合競(jìng)爭(zhēng)力排名的重要補(bǔ)充，等等。

        Study on the “World′s Best Universities” and “Webometrics

Rankings of World Universities”

【Abstract】There are many university rankings over the world.Different university rankings may vary significantly on the guidelines，methodology and result.For the better use of the results，this paper takes two  wellknown world university rankings for comparative analysis.One is“ World′s Best Universities”released by U.S.News & World Report，the other is “Webometrics Rankings of World Universities” published by Cybermetrics Lab which belongs to CCHSCSIC at Spanish.From index system，data sources and results，the paper first analyses the two rankings respectively.Then the relationship between them is discussed.The results show that：the correlation between overall university competitiveness and web performance is not high.However，those universities performed better overall always rank ahead of others on the list of web ranking.“Webometrics Ranking”is an important complement to overall university rankings，and so on.
